Frequent Drinker Program

Okay, yesterday I had a brilliant idea and now I feel the need to tell the world about it so that it can be readily implemented.

Problem: Drinking in San Francisco or any major metropolitan city is fucking expensive. Drinks and tips quickly build up.

Solution: Frequent Drinker Program, its like a bank for alcoholics.

Now this program will be kind of like a pre-paid drink card. You see you'd pay into some account, like a debt card actually, and at the bar they just charge your card for all the drinks until it runs out. This card would only be accepted at bars that participate in the program so that the bars have an incentive to participate because it guarantees them attendance. So you pay in however much you want and because you paid in advance you get a reduced price on drinks. Also the more money you deposit in the account initially the higher the discount.

Also there will be varying levels of membership like for beer drinkers, wine drinkers, shots and just fancy drinks. It will be like working an ATM actually, like you know when you pull out money from your ATM and it asks you if you would like to use checking or savings well with the FD program it will now ask you if you would like to take shots or have a beer. Also like an ATM you are able to transfer your money into another account. So say if you would like to transfer all your fancy liquor money into a PBR savings account you can do so. Or maybe you would like to dump all your wine money into shots because you're birthday is coming up. The flexibility of the plan would be terrific and different rates would apply to different drinks.

As the plan becomes increasingly popular we would have things like credit based program where your credit score would be judged on a number of factors such as amount of drinks per month, what kind of drinks, amount of money deposited in your account and ultimately your bartender's rating. People would be encouraged to treat their bartenders well because they can affect your credit rating. If you're a douche who never tips, throws up in the bathroom and always hits on your server then your score will go down and it will affect your approval for a Frequent Drinker credit card.

Another thing that is great about the frequent drinker program is that it discourages underaged drinking because now bars will know that the patron is truly of age because those under the age of 21 will be denied access to the program. The police will fucking love it.
