Booty Bass

Lately I've been listening to a lot of bass music. I picked up a bunch last month when I was in Texas and some of the stuff I found in SF or off ebay. I finally got around to ripping some of this stuff. I plan on uploading more when I get a chance. This shit has been in rotation for me a lot recently and I'm trying to get a booty bass party jumping off sometime in march. I want it to be raunchy as fuck and loud as hell. It's in the works now but I'll let you know when it all gets locked in and shit. In the meantime peep game.

T.M.F.C. - How Bout Some Dick
This song is very subtle in it's message. The way the mc's eloquently rhyme over the beat makes me think a very delicate ballet, gently moving across a dance floor with such precision and accuracy. This is like the bass version of Swan Lake.

Rapp Mechanic - Rapp Mechanix-1988
Off the Miami Bass Machine compilation. It's got hella shit going on but it's dope as hell. The only weird part is towards the end when they breakout the guitar. It sounds like Primus went back in time and convinced some bass/electro kids that their music would be perfect for their song.

Gigolo Tony - M.Y.O.B. - 1987
Ft Lauderdale wants you to mind your own business. This isn't necessarily bass but I like it so fuck it.

Get Some Crew - Get Buck Ass Wild - 1994
I copped this one off the strength of the title. It's fast and good. They work in mentioning Lego My Ego and Speed Racer. It's also the most recent song out of this set of records I ripped.

The Get Funky Crew - Shake Them Titties - 1989
Clay D joint from 89. The group consisted of Clay D, Prince Rahiem, and DJ Doc Fresh. Even the itty bitty titty committee can get down with this.

Disco Rick - The Negro's Back - 1990
Disco Rick - Fuck Around The Clock - 1990
Disco Rick 12" and the b-side is really where it's at. Yeah it's a cheesy cover but you can't be mad and a song that celebrates fucking ho's in the butt. These days Disco Rick is doing mostly production out of this studio in north Miami, Audio Visions. Werner Von Walenrod has an extensive Disco Rick article he wrote a while back posted on his blog that you'd be advised to get up on part 1 part 2

The Dogs - Get Loose
Some more Disco Rick but this time with R&B and Bass. The Dogs were a group including him Amazing Peanut and Ant D. The singing can get corny but when the crowd yells "WE WANT TO FUCK" I can't really be mad at it. It's got gems like "I wanna to stick it right in your asshole, I'm drunk your drunk so what ho, are you ready for another bottle?"

that's it for now, but I'll get more off this stuff up soon. I want to throw up some of the Maggotron/electro bass shit I got too.
