I like Big Hud, sometimes his rhymes can be average but he does enough to keep me interested,. It’d be dope if he had more wordplay but he keeps his lyrics pretty straight forward, not a lot of line flipping. That track I Woke Up This Morning has this beat that reminds me of trance rap before it went so ravey. Hud has that North Texas/DSR style of delivery, not as syrupy as houston, touch more yelling. Not blown out vocals but yeah just that Dallas loud rap styling. The most south texas sound joint was the money already made with ESG which is nice to see him showing up, I haven’t been listening to ESG lately but now I want to find some new shit from him. Oh and smell my cologne is great for the pimp sample alone, I can get with almost any song that samples an angry pimp c on a rant.
