I became friends with Mestizo when he came up to me at a show at Nita’s Hideaway in Tempe, Arizona and said “hey you’re the guy who is always yelling at the shows, telling rappers they suck, you’re funny"

This is my favorite track off this album, the way the beat incessantly grinds through the whole song and Mestizo’s restrained pace becomes more pronounced with that reverb echoing those stressed vowels for just that much more emphasis. You can hear how tight his fist are clenched. I really like when he fucks with these slow dark beats (peep let it spray if you haven’t). Fast rap is fun and all but simmering anger is more fun.
Go get the album, it’s worth it.
